During the night to Monday, Russian forces shelled Kharkiv and Vovchansk, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure objects.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synyehubov, in a telegram channel.
"At 01:00, the enemy shelled Kharkiv with 'Shahed' drones. As a result of enemy shelling, two apartment buildings, a hotel building, an infrastructure object, and a communal facility building were damaged, as well as two private cars. No casualties," the message said.
Approximately 15 settlements in the Kharkiv region, including Udy, Strilecha, Starytsia, etc., were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar strikes. Russian airstrikes targeted the settlements of Velykyi Burluk and Vovchansk.
Moreover, in Vovchansk, two private houses and six outbuildings were damaged as a result of the rocket artillery fire. No casualties.
As a result of a subsequent shelling of Vovchansk, a private residential building was on fire. There were no casualties.
