The Lithuanian Armed Forces have initiated large-scale military exercises aimed at testing the combat readiness of the army, as reported on the country's Armed Forces website.

During these exercises, the military will focus on improving the coordination between different military units, practicing the redeployment from permanent locations to operational areas, and fulfilling assigned tasks. They will also conduct practical tests of interunit cooperation and collaboration with other institutions. This may involve the movement of military equipment on the country's roads.

According to available information, servicemen from various branches of the Lithuanian Armed Forces will participate in the training, conducting drills and exercises in both training grounds and civilian areas.

Currently, the "Royal Strike 2023" exercises of the Hussar Battalion named after King Mindaugas of the Iron Wolf Mechanized Infantry Brigade Geležinis Vilkas are underway. Nearly 600 military personnel and combat equipment are taking part in these exercises.
