Since the beginning of March, Ukraine has significantly increased its sugar exports to African countries, particularly to Cameroon, Libya, and Guinea.
This was reported by Taras Vysotsky, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
"Ukraine is actively developing a new direction for sugar exports. During March, nearly 8,000 tons of sugar were delivered to three African countries - Cameroon, Libya, and Guinea," noted Taras Vysochky.
According to him, the overall situation in the sugar market is stable. The amount of sugar produced is sufficient for domestic needs of Ukrainians and to meet the necessary export volumes.
