Tonight, on December 7, Russia once again attacked Ukraine with drones of Iranian origin. The Russians targeted Ukraine's port infrastructure again.

As reported by the Ukrainian Air Force, occupiers launched 18 'Shaheds' drones from the territory of occupied Crimea (Cape Chauda) tonight. The main directions of the attack were the Odessa and Khmelnytskyi regions.

Anti-aircraft defense forces destroyed 15 drones. In the south of Ukraine, 11 'Shaheds' drones were shot down.

The port infrastructure of Danube rivers was under attack.

As a result of the attack, a storage facility, an elevator, and trucks were damaged. A fire broke out due to the drone strike, and it has already been extinguished.

Local authorities reported that the driver of one of the trucks was killed.

It should be noted that Izmail is home to a maritime trading port. This is a crucial logistics hub for Ukraine, where the work of maritime, river, railway, and road transport is concentrated.

Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion and due to the Russian blockade of the seas, the Izmail port has experienced increased activity. The occupiers have attacked the port multiple times.
