Russia launched 13 'Shahed' UAVs over Ukraine overnight on March 27. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 10 kamikaze drones.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces reports this.
"During the night, Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine, using 13 Shahed UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 10 UAVs," the report said.
Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces Mykola Oleshchuk confirmed the results of the night work of air defense. According to him, the launches were from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Air defense worked in the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kyiv regions.
Zenith missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare means of the Air Force were involved in repelling the attack.
Overall, over the past day, the Russian army launched five missile and 74 aviation strikes.
Also, the Russians conducted 152 shelling from reactive volley fire systems on the positions of our troops and settlements.
