In the Rostov region (Russian Federation), an oil depot caught fire early in the morning on July 13 due to a drone strike.

This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev and Russian media.

The Russian official specified that the incident occurred at an oil facility in the Tsimlyansky district.

"Around 4:00 am, a fire broke out at an oil depot in the Tsimlyansky district as a result of a UAV attack," he wrote online.

According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or injuries. The governor added that emergency services are working at the scene to extinguish the fire.

"The fire has been assigned a rank of 3. Fire brigades are working at the site, involving 49 people and 14 units of equipment. Information is being clarified," he said.

Meanwhile, footage of the burning oil depot has already appeared online. Propagandists predictably blame the Ukrainian side for the drone attack.

The Telegram channel Mash writes that fragments of the drone, shot down by Russian air defense systems, "fell on the territory of the enterprise where AI-92, AI-95 gasoline, and diesel fuel are stored."
