In Ukraine, a super-protection against Russian thermal imagers and drones with thermal imaging cameras has been developed based on the Brave1 cluster.
This was announced by Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology Development – Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.
"The cloak blocks thermal emissions and makes soldiers invisible to the enemy, such as snipers or reconnaissance groups performing combat missions," said the Vice Prime Minister.
The development is compact and lightweight, weighing up to 2.5 kg. It has high resistance to rain and wet snow.
Additionally, the cloak is non-flammable and provides protection against high temperatures.
Prototypes of the cloak have already undergone successful field testing.
"The invisibility cloak is just one of the developments that will help save the lives of our soldiers on the front lines. We need even more," emphasized Fedorov.
Brave1 is a consortium dedicated to advancing defense technologies in Ukraine. The team and specialized experts at Brave1 provide financial, informational, and organizational support to startups and developers aiming to gain technological advantages over the enemy for our victory.
