The number of casualties in Ukraine as a result of yesterday's massive enemy attack has increased to 39. A total of 159 people have been affected.
This information is reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on Telegram.
"Overall, 159 people were affected by this terrorist strike. Among them, unfortunately, there are 39 fatalities at the moment. My condolences to the families and loved ones. All the necessary assistance has been provided to the injured and traumatized," stated the head of state.
Zelensky mentioned that efforts are still ongoing in Ukraine to address the consequences of yesterday's Russian attack. Almost 120 cities and villages have been affected, including hundreds of civilian objects.
The president also expressed gratitude to world leaders, politicians, and public figures who condemned the Russian attack.
"The weapon in the hands of Ukrainians is always a means of protecting lives, and each manifestation of Russian terror repeatedly proves that assistance should not be delayed to those who resist terror. Together, we must all overcome terror," added Zelensky.
