According to a study published in the Polish journal "Political Science and Security Studies Journal," the Ukrainian strike maritime drone Magura V5 has been recognized as the most effective during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The Magura V5 drones inflicted fire damage on 14 Russian ships, 8 of which were completely destroyed. These include the reconnaissance ship "Ivan Khurs," patrol ship "Sergei Kotov," landing ships "Akula" and "Serna," missile ship "Ivanovets," large landing ship "Tsezar Kunikov," as well as various types of Russian fast patrol and landing boats.
The losses inflicted on the aggressor state of Russia by operators of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence with the Magura V5 drones are estimated at over half a billion dollars.
In addition to comparing Magura's effectiveness with other weapons of this type, Polish scientists also assessed how the use of strike maritime drones has impacted the security situation in the Black Sea.
