Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk called on international humanitarian organisations involved in supporting internally displaced persons in Ukraine not to delay and demonstrate an initiative regarding the choice of assistance format.

The cold season is just amid the onset, the countdown is on, day by day. All people leaving dangerous regions must be protected, accommodated and provided with clothing, and medicines.

We have to coordinate the efforts of the Government, regional military administrations, local communities and benefactors. And do that as soon as possible. Take the initiative, offer what you are ready to help with! We host thousands of families and we must be convinced: every family will have a shelter! Here and now!
