Today, there is an excessive activation of the Russian information campaign accompanying the storming of Bakhmut.
This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Malyar.
"The enemy is launching several narratives to demoralize our society and military. In particular, it is alleged that Bakhmut has no strategic importance and its defense is allegedly a political decision," she said.
However, Hanna Malyar emphasizes this is not the case. After all, the military has repeatedly explained the importance and tasks of the defense of Bakhmut. Decisions regarding the conduct of hostilities are made by the higher military leadership.
Also, the occupiers resort to discrediting the military command of the eastern direction and publishing fake documents allegedly from the headquarters in the East. At the same time, for suggestion, they demonstrate the "strength" of the occupiers and the "weakness" of the defenders, revealing the allegedly known plans for Bakhmut of both warring parties.
