The National Party of Moldova has called for the expulsion of the Russian ambassador from the country due to the organization of voting for Putin's "elections" in Transnistria without the consent of Chisinau.
According to Newsmaker, the party led by Dragos Galbur was outraged by the opening of six Russian polling stations in the uncontrollable region for Putin's "elections" and stated that Moldova should expel Russian Ambassador Oleg Vasnietsov from the country after this incident.
Galbur called Moscow's actions a flagrant violation of international law and an affront to Moldova's sovereignty.

"It is time to demonstrate that we will no longer tolerate such violations and are determined to defend national interests," the leader of the political force stated.
On March 17 in Transnistria, despite the ban imposed by Moldovan authorities, six polling stations were opened for voting for the President of Russia, located in Tiraspol, Bender, Rybnitsa, and Grigoriopol.
The unionists are a minor political force. The party advocates for the reunification of Moldova with Romania and calls for citizens to be asked during the referendum initiated by the president regarding the country's accession to the EU whether they would also support joining the EU and NATO through reunification with Romania.
