The Russian forces continue to terrorize the population of Kherson region by dropping explosive devices from drones.

In the live broadcast of the United News telethon, the head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command South Natalia Humenyuk reported,

"The Russian forces continue to terrorize the population of Kherson region by dropping explosive devices from drones. The peculiarity of our operational zone is that the frontline practically lies along the Dnipro River, and the controlling factor there is the distance the Russian forces are trying to reach the right bank. We are working to push their firepower away from the left bank as far as possible so that they do not reach the right bank."

She noted that there are daily cases when the Russian forces attack private houses with FPV drones or drop fragmentation munitions from other types of drones on clusters of people, cars traveling from one settlement to another.

"Before their pseudo-elections, the Russians promoted a narrative that they would return to Kherson. Now they are trying with all their might to instill in the local population of Kherson region that the Defense Forces are not the ones they need, and they should expect a 'Russian peace.' They employ the same tactics in the JFO area. They try to shell peaceful residents and pass it off as the work of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," emphasized the head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command South.

Humenyuk reported that the Russian forces also continue drone attacks, using drones such as Shahed-131 and Shahed-136. According to her, their trajectory and geography indicate that the Russian forces are trying to damage the infrastructure that supports Ukraine's economy and are attempting to cause maximum harm to the civilian population.

She noted that last night in the area of responsibility of the Operational Command South, three drones were destroyed in Dnipropetrovsk region, three in Mykolaiv region, two in Kherson region, and one in Odessa region.

According to her, debris from a downed drone in Odessa region damaged a private estate and severed a power line. However, repair work is already underway. No casualties were reported.

"We carefully monitor enemy attacks, analyze them, and observe the trajectory of drone launches. But even combat operations can cause harm, so it is essential to take cover," emphasized the head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command South.
