The Russian forces continue to carry out terror not only through regular artillery shelling directly along the line of contact but also by using various types of drones: from FPV drones attacking frontline territories to barraging projectiles.

This was stated by the spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Natalia Humenyuk, during the telethon.

"The drone attack, which began in our operational zone just a few minutes before midnight, is not over. Combat operations are ongoing, with drones barraging different regions, and most of them have already been targeted, but we will assess the results when we complete the combat operations," said Humenyuk.

There is also a hunt with air defense units: operations were conducted in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. By directing drones from the south, the Russian forces tries to maximize the use of occupied territories to prevent the drones from being destroyed directly.

"But where they enter the zone of our impact, effective combat operations are being conducted," the spokesperson noted.

The Russian forces does not cease its assault actions, continues to pressure the foothold in the Krynky area, where two assaults have been conducted, and continues to storm positions in the Zaporizhzhia direction. Southern units repelled up to 10 assaults.

"In our responsibility zone, where the foothold is established, the positions remain under our control. We continue to repel assaults, and if during the previous day the enemy never managed to gather strength in this direction, then during this combat day, they twice stormed our positions. We managed to repel them and continue to consolidate in this area," added Natalia Humenyuk
