Ukrainian experts believe that some Shahed drones launched by Russia may have enhanced warheads. In addition, they often have different sound characteristics, either louder or quieter.
This was reported by the head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command "South" Natalia Humenyuk during the United News telethon.
"We do not yet have a conclusion regarding whether Shahed drones have a more powerful warhead, including regarding the drone that hit a multi-story building in Odessa on March 2. However, there are assumptions among experts that some of them may indeed have an enhanced warhead," Humenyuk noted.
She added that Shahed drones are mainly painted in darker colors to blend with the night sky.
"Moreover, they often have different sound characteristics: somewhat louder, somewhat quieter - in various modifications, obviously differently. There are indications that the occupants are selecting what will be more effective," Humenyuk pointed out.
