Recently, the Russian forces has been employing a tactic of maneuvering drones amidst residential areas, terrorizing the population of Ukraine and complicating the work of air defense forces.

This was reported by the head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command "South" Natalia Humenyuk during the telethon.

"Lately, the enemy has been choosing such tactics, maneuvering drones in residential areas, terrorizing the civilian population. This tactic is also aimed at complicating the work of Ukraine's Air Defense Forces because it is very difficult to shoot down drones in such circumstances, especially when surrounded by high-rise buildings with people," said Humenyuk.

She reminded that last night such "striking" actions by Russian drones occurred in the Odessa region, where the Russian forces attempted to carry out a powerful strike on a specific area.

"For 1.5 hours, drones attacked Odessa from the Black Sea, attempting to navigate through residential and industrial quarters. There were a lot of maneuvers conducted amidst residential areas," noted the head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command "South."

According to her, the Russian forces used the same tactic overnight in eastern Ukraine, where drones were used in densely populated residential areas.
