NATO will send military aid packages to Ukraine, including additional air defense systems, with maximum speed and efficiency.
This was announced by General Alexus Gregory Grynkewich, Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), during one of his first official visits to the NATO Security Assistance and Training Initiative for Ukraine (NSATU) headquarters, according to the press service of the NATO Representation in Ukraine.
“We're going to move as quickly as we can,” Glinkevich said.
The Representation emphasized that a key role in this process is played by the Logistic Support Node in Poland (LEN-P), which is one of the most important components of NSATU. The node provides constant support to Ukraine’s defense, managing the delivery of about 18,000 tons of military equipment monthly.
Earlier, at the LANDEURO symposium in Wiesbaden, General Glinkevich highlighted the importance of the security situation, noting that “the war is already at our doorstep.”
He stated that NATO is focused on rapidly delivering additional air defense systems and other military aid to Ukraine.
NSATU is an international initiative involving more than 300 personnel from 28 NATO countries, who work closely with representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
