The company also said that it does not expect to make a profit in Russia or pay any taxes in the future.

Nestle has withdrawn the KitKat and Nesquik brands from the Russian market. The company has also suspended non-essential imports and exports to and from Russia. The press service of Nestle reported this.

“As long as the war continues in Ukraine, our activities in Russia will be focused on providing essentials such as baby food and medical/hospital nutrition rather than making a profit. This approach is consistent with our purpose and values, and it supports the principle of ensuring the fundamental right to food," the statement said.

The company also said that it does not expect to make a profit in Russia or pay any taxes in the future. All proceeds from sales will be donated to humanitarian aid organizations.

"This is in addition to hundreds of tons of food and significant financial assistance that we have already sent to support the population of Ukraine and refugees in neighboring countries. And these efforts will continue. We support the people of Ukraine and our 5,800 employees there," the message added.
