On the night of November 1, 2023, Russians struck critical infrastructure and military targets using offensive drones of the Shahed-136/131 type and a guided aviation missile X-59.

This information is reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

In total, 18 out of 20 offensive Shahed drones were shot down. Additionally, a guided aviation missile X-59 was destroyed.

The area of the X-59 missile launch and some of the "Shahed" drones originated from Kursk region in Russia, while the rest of the enemy's offensive UAVs were attacked from the southeast direction, specifically from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region in Russia.

"During the night attack, air raid sirens were activated in most regions of Ukraine. The offensive drones were eliminated along their routes by tactical aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Air Force in cooperation with the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine," as stated in the report.
