The Norwegian government has allocated an additional 84 million euros for humanitarian support to Ukraine through Norwegian humanitarian organizations. This was announced in a press release by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Oslo is allocating 1 billion Norwegian kroner, approximately 84 million euros, for humanitarian support to Ukrainians through the activities of the Norwegian Red Cross, the Refugee Council and its NORCAP project, Norwegian Church Aid, Norwegian People's Aid, Caritas Norway, and Save the Children. The funds are provided through the long-term Norwegian support program for Ukraine, Nansen.

The funds will primarily be directed towards humanitarian assistance for people who have lost their homes, as well as for education, medical services, psychological support, and the protection of civilians.

Since the start of the full-scale war, Norway has allocated over 4.5 billion Norwegian kroner for humanitarian support to Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees in neighboring countries.

Earlier, Norway announced around 17 million euros for humanitarian demining in Ukraine.
