Russian President Vladimir Putin was given a conditional deadline for the end of the unleashed war against Ukraine until November 15. On this day, the G-20 summit is to be held in Bali.

This opinion was expressed by military expert Oleg Zhdanov, Channel 24 reports.

According to him, this happened in mid-September at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO):

"The leaders of India and China told Putin that he started the war at the wrong time and in the wrong place and recommended that it be ended as soon as possible. He replied that he wanted it himself."

"Probably by this date - November 15 - Putin wanted to end the main phase of the war and start negotiations with Ukraine. The head of the Kremlin could consider the start of negotiations his victory. He could also argue that this is the way to end the war," Zhdanov added.

The expert added that the terms of the game were changed by Putin's announcement of the annexation of new Ukrainian territories:

"As the military-political leadership of Ukraine noted, after such a statement, there will be no talk of any negotiations. Russia's only way is military defeat."

According to Zhdanov, the Kremlin's rhetoric is also changing with the illegal decision to "join" Ukrainian territories with Russia. They are already saying that they do not yet see the prospects for ending the war in Ukraine through the diplomatic path.

"Today, for domestic consumers in Russia, it is enough to announce the annexation of four regions of Ukraine. Why would they need negotiations then? They will defend or "liberate" these territories, as they say," the military expert said.
