Since February 2022, the potential difference between the Black Sea Fleet of Russia and the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has decreased threefold.
This was stated by the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vice-Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, Military Media Center reports.
"If we compare the forces and means of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation with the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the beginning of a large-scale invasion, then those ships and units averaged twelve to one. Currently, due to the receipt of missile systems and other weapons from partner countries, the difference in these potentials has decreased by three times. Today, among other things, we are closely monitoring the sky, shooting down missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and other Russian and Iranian-made scrap metal," he said.
The military assured that the Naval Forces and other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine control all strategic approaches to the Odessa region.
