Two people have died in Kyiv as a result of a rocket attack. More than 10 residents of the capital have been injured.
President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to today's mass shelling of Ukraine. Six regions of Ukraine were under attack by the Russian forces.
"In Mykolaiv, dozens of residential buildings have been destroyed, and one person has died. In Kyiv, more than ten people have been injured, and as of now, we know of two fatalities," the president noted.
He added that there may be people trapped under the rubble of a multi-story building in Kyiv. Additionally, some infrastructure has been damaged in the capital, including high-voltage cables.
Zelensky stated that two people were injured in the Kharkiv region due to the shelling, with one person being rescued. There were no casualties in the Lviv region, and rescuers are working at the sites of the attacks.
"My condolences to all who have lost their loved ones. We will definitely respond to Russia - terrorists will always feel the consequences of their actions. Thank you to all our medics, rescuers, and municipal services. Thank you to everyone who cares about our state, rescues, and helps people," the president added.
