Reznikov believes that in winter, the intensity of hostilities will decrease.
The Ukrainian armed forces will use a possible pause in hostilities during the winter to train and strengthen personnel. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will be replenished with thousands of new soldiers who are now being trained in the UK.
This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, reports Reuters.
Reznikov believes that hostilities will be slowed down in winter, so Ukraine should take advantage of this pause.
"We will use this winter time with the maximum result for our Armed Forces, for regrouping, for renewal, for rotation, and we will prepare them well," the minister said.
He also added that thousands of Ukrainians are currently being trained in the UK, who will join the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the pause in hostilities.
