Rocket attack sets residential building ablaze in Kyiv, three hospitalized

In Kyiv, in the Golosiivsky district, a residential multi-storey building caught fire as a result of a rocket attack. Three injured people have been hospitalized.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on Telegram.

"The fire and rescue unit is heading to the Golosiivsky district, where, presumably, a building fire has occurred," he said.

Later, Klitschko added that in the Golosiivsky district, the fire occurred in a multi-storey residential building.

He also reported that in the Golosiivsky district, cars and an auto repair shop are on fire. "All services are on-site. There have been no calls for medical assistance so far," Klitschko wrote.

Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration clarified that according to preliminary information, one person was injured in the Golosiivsky district. Damage to the power grid was also recorded.

Klitschko announced that the number of injured has increased to three.

"Three people have already been hospitalized in the Golosiivsky district. Medics are working near the building where the fire occurred as a result of enemy attack," he wrote.
