Romania emphasizes the importance of establishing a lasting peace in Ukraine, taking into account the consequences for the Black Sea region.
This was reported on social media by Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu.
“For Romania, ensuring a long-lasting peace, and not just an indefinite pause in the war, as well as considering the implications for the Black Sea, are essential in this process. We support a strong, common voice of the Coalition of the Willing,” the top diplomat said.
The head of Romanian diplomacy added that she had called the Vice President of the European Commission and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas to coordinate efforts for peace and discuss the next steps at the European level.
