Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer Roshel recently marked a significant milestone by delivering the one-thousandth Roshel Senator armored vehicle to the Ukrainian military.

Roman Shimonov, the founder and CEO of Roshel Inc, announced the achievement, stating, "Roshel has reached a remarkable milestone, delivering the 1000th Roshel Senator armored vehicle to Ukraine ahead of schedule, bolstering defense capabilities during critical times."

Throughout 2022, numerous new Senator vehicles were sent to Ukraine as part of military aid packages provided amid the Russian invasion. Some of these Senator vehicles are currently actively utilized by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Reports indicate that Ukrainian military personnel highly value the Senator armored vehicles, actively deploying them in the most challenging combat zones. These machines have received high praise for their performance in the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine and play a crucial role in critical theaters of military operations.

The war in Ukraine served as the first combat deployment of the Senator armored vehicle, testing its capabilities in demanding operational conditions.

The Canadian armored vehicle, produced by Roshel Defense Solutions since 2019, is built on the Ford F-550 chassis. The vehicle features a heavily armored steel body and windows capable of withstanding shots from a .50 caliber weapon. The Senator also incorporates an explosion-resistant body, enabling it to withstand grenade or mine blasts. The vehicle's tires are equipped with a run-flat system with on-the-go inflation.
