Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine overnight on March 24, using 29 missiles launched from 14 Tu-95MS aircraft and 28 UAVs.
This was reported by the Commander of the Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.
As Oleshchuk noted, as a result of the air battle, 43 air targets were destroyed.
"18 cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555 and 25 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs were destroyed in the areas of Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Sumy, Kyiv, Volyn, and Lviv regions," the general added.
• 29 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were launched from 14 Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft (launch area: Engels airbase, Russia);
• 28 Shahed-type strike UAVs (launch areas: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia, and Cape Chauda, Crimea).
Russian forces conducted another shelling of Ukraine on March 24, using both drones and missiles. This attack marks the third strike on Ukraine in the past four days. In particular, Kyiv was targeted, with air defense systems operating in the region.
Currently, there is information about an attack on Kryvyi Rih, where 76,000 people were left without electricity, and Lviv region, where the occupiers targeted a critical infrastructure object.
