Russia launched 34 Shahed drones at Ukraine overnight

On the night of March 23, Russia launched 34 kamikaze drones at Ukraine. Air Defense Forces destroyed 31 'Shahed' drones.

This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleksyuk, on Telegram.

As noted, the launches of 'Shahed' drones originated from the Kursk region and Cape Chauda in Crimea.

Air defense forces shot down 31 out of 34 drones. Mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, anti-aircraft units, and aircraft of the Air Force were involved in repelling the attack.

On this night, air defense operations were conducted within the Poltava, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

Additionally, during the night, the occupiers attacked the Donetsk region with four guided missiles from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.

Since the evening of March 22, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been reporting on the launch and movement of 'Shahed' drones. Alarms were heard in the south, east, as well as in the central regions of Ukraine.
