Russia launched nearly a hundred drones and missiles over Ukraine at night

Russia overnight on March 29 launched about a hundred kamikaze drones and missiles of various types into Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 84 Russian targets.

This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleshchuk, on Telegram.

During this night, the enemy struck objects in Ukraine's fuel and energy sector, releasing 99 air attack assets:

• 60 Shahed drones (launch area: Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk region);

• 3 aeroballistic missiles Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" (from three MiG-31K fighters - Ryazan region);

• 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (Crimea);

• 9 guided aviation missiles Kh-59 (from nine Su-34 aircraft - Belgorod region);

• 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles (Kursk region);

• 21 cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555 (from 11 Tu-95MS strategic bombers - Engels).

Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 84 targets, including 56 drones, 17 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, five Kh-59 guided aviation missiles, and four Iskander-K cruise missiles.

To repel the attack, air force and ground forces' anti-aircraft units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare means were deployed.
