During the night of March 18, Russia launched a missile strike on the fire station of a border settlement in the Kharkiv region, resulting in casualties.
This information was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
As a result of the strike, the building of the fire station suffered damage (windows, doors, gates were knocked out, the roof and facade were damaged). Four firefighting and rescue vehicles were also damaged.
"At the time of the attack, there were 11 rescuers on duty at the fire station, one of whom suffered a hand injury. This is a driver-rescuer of the local firefighting and rescue unit. Medical assistance was provided to him on the spot," the State Emergency Service reported.
