Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have launched a series of attacks across several regions in Ukraine, resulting in injuries to civilians and significant damage to infrastructure and homes.

Sumy Region

The Sumy Regional Military Administration (RMA) reported on Telegram that between the morning of July 14 and the morning of July 15, Russian forces conducted 85 attacks on 34 settlements within 13 territorial communities across Sumy region. The heaviest bombardments were concentrated in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

The assault involved nearly 20 multiple rocket launcher (MLRS) strikes, approximately 10 VOG grenade drops from drones, and nearly 30 airstrikes using guided glide bombs (KABs). Additionally, various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including FPV drones, were deployed alongside missile strikes.

As a result, 13 civilians were injured, including two 14-year-old children—one in the Sumy community due to a drone strike and another in Shostka from missile attacks. Infrastructure damage was widespread: a school building, a medical facility, a car, and several non-residential buildings were hit in Sumy; civilian infrastructure sustained damage in Hlukhiv; and apartment blocks, private homes, and a medical center were damaged in Shostka.

The region endured nearly 22 hours of air raid alerts on July 14, and 24 residents from border communities were evacuated for safety.

Kherson

In the early hours of July 15, a Russian drone struck a civilian car in the suburbs of Kherson, injuring two people. The Kherson City Military Administration reported that a 75-year-old man suffered severe head trauma and shrapnel wounds and remains in critical condition. A 44-year-old woman accompanying him sustained moderate injuries.

Overnight, Russian forces also targeted a healthcare facility in Bilozerka, Kherson region, damaging its windows, roof, facade, and medical offices.

Kirovohrad region

In Kirovohrad region, local authorities reported that air defense forces successfully shot down multiple Russian drones during the night. One downed drone’s debris ignited a fire in a field in the Ustynivka community, which was quickly extinguished. Another drone crashed on a private property in Katerynivka, causing no casualties. Officials are currently assessing the affected areas.

Dnipro

Dnipro city and surrounding communities faced drone strikes that damaged an apartment building, six private houses, and a gymnasium, according to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration. While air defense units shot down 16 Russian drones overnight, no casualties were reported.

The Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka, and Marhanets communities also experienced FPV drone and artillery shelling without any injuries.

Mykolaiv region

The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, led by Vitaliy Kim, reported that Shahed 131 and 136 drones struck the region overnight. Damage included two private houses and an outbuilding in the Pervomaisky district, as well as infrastructure damage in Voznesensk. A fire was promptly controlled by rescue teams.

Additionally, an FPV drone attack targeted the Kutsurub community on July 15 afternoon, causing no casualties.
