In the morning of March 28th, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Odessa. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, a Russian missile flew towards Odessa.
Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, reported this.
"In the morning, the enemy carried out missile strikes. Preliminary information indicates no casualties. Updates will follow," he wrote.
He also noted that overnight, Russian aircraft, including Tu-22M3 bombers deployed over the Black Sea, fired Kh-22 missiles towards the southern part of the Odessa region. Additionally, a Su-30 aircraft launched anti-radiation missiles in the same direction.
"The missiles lost their combat effectiveness in the sea waters," he reported.
Later, according to Oleg Kiper, around three in the morning, the enemy attacked Odessa region with strike drones. Two drones destroyed air defense forces. No casualties were reported.
