Russian forces carried out 1 missile strike and 65 airstrikes, as well as conducted 71 artillery and rocket attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian areas, according to the operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday.
Specifically, over the past day, Russian forces launched airstrikes near the populated areas of Volodyne and Pavlivka in Sumy region; Zahrizove and Borova in Kharkiv region; Umanske, Verkhnotoretske, Staromykhailivka, Vodyane, Volodymyrivka, Urozhaine, and Staromayorsk in Donetsk region; and Robitne in Zaporizhzhia region.
Artillery and mortar shelling by Russian forces targeted over 90 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
"As a result of Russian attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Multistory and private houses, as well as other infrastructure objects, have been destroyed and damaged," emphasized the summary from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
