Russian troops yesterday, April 7, shelled Sumy region 180 times, causing destruction and civilian casualties.
This was reported by the Sumy region police on Facebook.
"During the past day, the Russian forces shelled populated areas of Sumy region. In total, 180 hits were recorded," the statement said.
As a result of the shelling, two civilians were injured, three private homes were damaged, along with an apartment in a multi-apartment building, an administrative building, a post office, and a school.
Based on the facts, investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, "Violation of the laws and customs of war."
