Russian forces launched kamikaze drones targeting Kryvyi Rih overnight on March 24. As a result of the attack, over 76,000 people were left without heating.
This information was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
"Russian forces attacked the region with kamikaze drones overnight. The falling debris damaged heating networks and power lines in Kryvyi Rih. Due to voltage fluctuations in the city, several boiler houses were disconnected. Six hospitals and over one hundred educational institutions were left without heating," said Lysak.
It is also reported that three thousand houses, housing a total of 76,000 people, were left without heating. Power supply disruptions were experienced in one of the medical facilities, but it has since been restored.
"The aggressor targeted critical infrastructure in Nikopol region as well. Debris from a downed drone damaged an energy facility. Over three thousand subscribers in Nikopol and over 6,400 in the district were left without power. Electricity supply has already been restored," added the head of the regional administration.
