Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight on April 4th, using 20 kamikaze drones. More than half of them were shot down by air defense systems.
This information was posted on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Last night, Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine, using 20 UAVs of the 'Shahed-136/131' type," the statement said.
With the efforts of Ukraine's air defense forces, 11 of the attacking UAVs were destroyed.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of April 4th, the enemy attacked Kharkiv and the region with attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type from the Kursk region (Russia). A total of 20 Shahed launches were recorded.
"As a result of the air battle by mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 11 attacking drones were destroyed," the military said.
