In Vovchansk, Russian forces continue active aerial reconnaissance. In the central part of the city, they has regrouped assault groups.

This information was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Kharkiv.

Over the past day, Russian forces made 13 attempts to attack the positions of Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kharkiv direction, all of which were successfully repelled. Our forces took decisive actions to halt the Russia's advance into Ukrainian territory.

In the area around the settlement of Hlyboke, Russian invaders are carrying out troop movements, evacuation measures, and logistical support. In Starytsia, Buhruvatka, and Ohirtsi, the Russians are conducting rotations and accumulating personnel at the frontline positions.

"In Vovchansk, the Russian forces continue aerial reconnaissance. In the central part of the city, the enemy has regrouped assault groups from the 153rd Tank Regiment and the 4th Volunteer Assault Brigade for assaults in the high-rise building district to continue their offensive actions," the report states.

In the area of the settlement of Tykhe, preparations are underway for the 83rd Separate Airborne Assault Brigade to advance. The Russian forces has launched an attack using multiple rocket launchers on Vovchanski Khutory from Russian territory.

Over the past day, the Russian forces carried out two airstrikes using five guided aerial bombs and conducted 37 drone attacks. Ukrainian defenders endured 402 shellings.

Since the start of today, three combat engagements are ongoing in the areas of Vovchansk and Lyptsi. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to respond effectively to Russian actions, destroying their personnel, weapons, and equipment.
