Russia has started to more actively use sabotage and reconnaissance groups near the border with the Kharkiv region, reported Andriy Demchenko, the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, during a telethon.

According to him, the activity of Russian saboteurs has been observed over the past few weeks. Previously, we mostly recorded them along the Sumy direction. However, in the last few weeks, we see a change in direction, specifically in the Kharkiv region.

"The Russians has been more actively using sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Kharkiv region lately," said Demchenko.

He suggests that Russian forces have changed the direction of the use of sabotage and reconnaissance groups as they realized that 'nothing is working out for them in the Sumy direction.' The spokesperson for the border guards added that 'the number of enemy shelling has significantly increased on the border of the Kharkiv region.'

"At the same time, shelling continues in the border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions," he says.
