On the night of April 12, 2024, the Russian forces attacked with 17 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs from Cape Chauda (Crimea) and a guided aviation missile X-59 from the airspace of the occupied Donetsk region.
The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Telegram.
"As a result of the air combat by the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 16 Shahed-type strike UAVs were shot down within the territory of the Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions," the statement said.
