The Russian Federation forces attacked the territory of Ukraine using drones and an aviation missile during the night of December 4th.
The Air Defense Forces operated in nine regions of the country. This information was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Telegram channel.
"On the night of December 4, 2023, the enemy attacked with 23 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs from Cape Chauda in the occupied Crimea and a guided aviation missile from the airspace of the occupied Kherson region," the statement from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reads.
It is reported that to repel the aerial attack, fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were engaged.
As a result of coordinated combat actions, 18 attack drones and one guided aviation missile, the Kh-59, were destroyed. The air defense system operated in no fewer than 9 regions of Ukraine.
