The American-Ukrainian investment fund Green Flag Ventures (GFV) is investing in Himera, a Ukrainian manufacturer of tactical communication systems. The announcement was made on their LinkedIn page.
"We are thrilled to support Himera as they continue to innovate in the defense communication sector. Their technology is a game-changer for secure communications on the modern battlefield, and we believe in their vision to revolutionize military communication systems globally," the statement said.
It was noted that Himera not only offers tactical advantages over established players in the global defense communication market, which is valued at $21.6 billion, but also has a significantly lower price compared to competing systems. GFV has witnessed the impact of Himera's technology in active combat zones.
"Partnering with Green Flag Ventures accelerates our ability to bring our cutting-edge solutions to more defense forces worldwide. At the same time, their expertise will help us provide even better products for our defenders in Ukraine," added Misha Rudominsky, co-founder of Himera.
Green Flag Ventures was launched during the full-scale invasion by Russia and invests in early-stage Ukrainian startups. Its co-founders are American entrepreneur Justin Ziff, who works in cybersecurity, and investor Deborah Ferland, who previously worked with the Ukrainian government.
