The border with Belarus remains a potentially dangerous direction, which is why Ukraine's Defense Forces are continuously strengthening it by all available means.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on television by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko.

He stated that the most threatening directions along the Ukrainian-Belarusian border are being remotely mined.

"Regarding remote mining, the most dangerous directions along the Belarusian border, where there could be an attempt to move equipment, are currently being mined by Ukraine’s Armed Forces to cover these areas with such measures. At the same time, we continue to enhance engineering fortifications along the entire length of the border to fully control the state border line. In particular, video surveillance systems are being installed. Additionally, fortifications are being strengthened in the border areas to be able to repel any attack and respond to any changes in the situation, should they occur," Demchenko emphasized.

He also noted that Ukrainian intelligence closely monitors Belarusian territory for possible movement of military equipment and personnel.

"Intelligence is monitoring what is happening deeper into Belarus to understand how the situation may change, so we can respond to any challenges that may arise from the direction of the Belarusian border. However, we are not seeing any movement of equipment or personnel from Belarusian army units near our border. Furthermore, the Russian contingent currently in Belarus is not large enough to pose a threat to Ukraine," the spokesperson assured.
