The death toll after the strike on Epicenter in Kharkiv has risen to 19 people

In Kharkiv, the number of casualties has once again increased following the Russian strike on the Epicenter hypermarket on May 25th. One of the injured has died in the hospital.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synehubov.

"Unfortunately, a 40-year-old man who was injured as a result of the enemy's strike on the 'Epicenter' has died in the hospital," he said.

According to him, the man was in burn intensive care, with burns covering 50% of his body.

Russian forces have recently been launching massive missile strikes on Kharkiv. For instance, on May 25th, invaders struck the Epicenter hypermarket and the center of Kharkiv.

On May 26th, it was reported that there were 12 fatalities, but later the number of casualties continued to rise. By May 28th, there were 17 fatalities and over 40 injured. As of May 27th, 14 out of 16 victims of the strike on the Epicenter in Kharkiv had been identified. Among them was a 17-year-old teenager. On May 28th, it became known that there were 18 fatalities and 50 injured.

Moreover, thanks to video footage from surveillance cameras, it was established that there were at least 20 people at the epicenter of the explosions.
