On the night of March 15, Russian army attacked Ukraine with strike drones of the Shahed type. Defense forces destroyed 27 units of drones.

During the night, the Russians launched 7 guided anti-aircraft missiles S-300/S-400 in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, one guided aviation missile Kh-59 in Poltava region, and 27 Shahed-type strike UAVs. The launching areas of the drones were in Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk region of Russia, according to the report.
Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and Ground Forces, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and units of electronic warfare were involved in repelling the aerial attack.
As a result of the combat operations, 27 Shaheds were shot down within the territories of Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions.
According to preliminary operational data, there were no casualties or destruction in the capital.
