Units of Ukraine's Defense Forces shot down 28 Russian drones, while another 46 were lost from radar tracking.

This was reported on Telegram by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Starting from 8:30 PM on December 7, Russian forces launched 74 attack drones, including Shahed UAVs and others, from launch sites in Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

As of 8:30 AM on December 8, Ukrainian Air Defense Forces, including anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire teams, had shot down 28 drones over Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Additionally, 46 drones were lost from radar tracking.

In Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region, falling debris from a downed Shahed caused damage to residential buildings and civilian property. Assistance is being provided to those affected.
