To accomplish the corresponding goals, the enemy concentrated about 45 battalion tactical groups in the South Bug operational area.
Now the number one task for Russia is to contain the Ukrainian counter-offensive in the south.
Brigadier General Alexei Gromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about this during a briefing.
He said that according to intelligence, the number one task for the Russian armed forces in the near future is to hold the front and stop the Ukrainian counter-offensive in the Kherson direction. The enemy plans to solve this problem through the first wave of partial mobilization and by increasing the number of groupings of the armed forces on the right bank of the Dnieper.
According to Gromov, today, the enemy has concentrated up to 45 battalion-tactical groups to contain the advance of Ukrainian troops in the South Bug operational direction. At the same time, the enemy is constantly trying to restore crossings across the Dnieper River.
