The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spoke about the statute of the International Criminal Court.

The UN International Criminal Court in The Hague cannot apply the article "aggression" concerning the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

In its (International Criminal Court) statute, it is written that one of the crimes on which it can judge is aggression. But in practice, purely for legal reasons, it cannot apply this article specifically to the case of Ukraine and Russia,

Dmytro Kuleba

Recall that Kuleba also states that Russia is focused on the war against Ukraine, and not on negotiations. According to him, this is evidenced by the Russian troops' artillery strikes and missile terror against the Ukrainians.
