The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has launched an information initiative on social media, unveiling its own advent calendar. The initiative will run until December 24th, with a daily publication on the pages of its advent calendar. According to the plan, throughout the 24 days of December leading up to Christmas, a series of "pre-holiday surprises" will be demonstrated.
On December 1st, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine expressed gratitude to its colleagues from the U.S. Department of Defense for their unwavering support, particularly for providing M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
"This weapon has become a true legend on the battlefield. Every day, it sends fiery gifts to the occupiers and destroys Russian equipment worth millions of dollars," the statement reads.
On December 2nd, gratitude was expressed to Polish partners from the Ministry of Defense of Poland. They thanked them for both their ongoing support and for providing self-propelled howitzers AHS Krab.
On December 3rd, gratitude was expressed to the British Ministry of Defense.
The Defense Ministry emphasized that the United Kingdom was the first European state to send weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, allowing them to resist Russian aggression. They also thanked the country for one of the best modern tanks - the Challenger 2.
Over the next few days, the Ministry of Defense will introduce new pages of the advent calendar.
