Oleksiy Bezhevets, the authorized representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for recruiting, listed the positions with the highest demand in recruiting centers.
According to Bezhevets, there are currently over 2,000 vacancies in the recruiting centers.
"These are directly those positions collected by the recruiting centers from military units, the permanent deployment point of which is in the respective region where the center is located," said the authorized representative of the Ministry of Defense on recruiting during a telethon.
He added that approximately another 10,000 various vacancies are currently posted online directly by military units.
"This is the field of vacancies from which a person can choose what interests them. From these over 10,000 vacancies, various specific positions can be selected, which are as close as possible in terms of profession, experience, and the individual's vision," Bezhevets noted.
At the same time, he emphasized that the need is primarily in combat units directly involved in containing the aggressor and in combat actions.
These vacancies include drivers, mechanics, shooters, operators of all types of weapons, artillery support personnel, UAV operators, and combat medics.
"Not only combat medics, but medics in general. A separate path is currently created for medics so that a person with at least basic education can enter the army for a position that specifically involves medical assistance," said the authorized representative of the Ministry of Defense on recruiting.
Additionally, according to him, there are a large number of vacancies in the army related to logistics, servicing, and repair. Besides, there are vacancies for staff positions.
